Start-ups from tier 2&3 cities are contributing to India’s start-up boom. One such  Chhattisgarh-based, job tech start-up Industries Helping Hands, is upskilling graduates  and working professionals. A Start-up is run with a vision to create millions of helping  hands for industries across India. To overcome the problem of structural  unemployment and the skill gap, this start-up is creating a skilled workforce for  sustainable e-mobility and IT companies. 


What does it do? 
This upskilling and recruiting platform is connected with more than 100+ companies,  120+ colleges, and 10K+ student communities across pan India. The Electric vehicle  industry is expected to be the third-largest in the world by 2030. With significant  growth comes a high demand for a skilled talent pool. Industries Helping Hands  provides training courses in electric vehicle design and development to upskill the  talent pool to meet the requirements of the companies.  
Despite the high number of educational institutions in the country, a lot of young  graduates are lacking in industry-oriented skills and practical knowledge. The vital  skills of coding and programming are in demand. Code powers our digital world and  this start-up is creating a skilled workforce for IT companies also. 

Nishant Dhote, Founder of Industries Helping Hands, said, The IT sector is one that is always on the lookout for a skilled workforce so we are  working on it, and by introducing the upskilling courses on electric vehicles and  sustainable e-mobility we are creating a new category for the students of core branches  like automobile, mechanical, electrical, and electronics who are not interested in  coding and wants the jobs in the core companies. My co-founders Bhavesh Patil an  alumnus of IIT Dhanbad and Ashish Kaduskar an alumnus of NIT Kurukshetra, are  leading the electric vehicle Course segment and our motive has been to deliver quality  education & enabling people from Tier II and III cities to get technology jobs. Most  importantly, this program requires no prior experience in electric vehicle technology  or coding and is open to students of all streams. 

Market opportunities  
According to a report by Nasscom-Zinnov, India is projected to face a shortage of 14- 19 lakh tech professionals by 2026. As predicted by a report titled "Investing for  Impact: Education, Skills, and EdTech", the Indian online education market is poised  to become a $313 billion market by 2030. According to the Avendus Capital report, the  market for electric vehicles will be valued at INR 475 billion by 2025. OEM sector,  battery, and charging technology also need a trained workforce.Industries Helping  Hands is skilling college graduates, diploma holders & working professionals to create 
a strong future-ready workforce that could meet the growing demand of the IT &  Automobile industry.  

Growth Plans 
This start-up is working to provide affordable upskilling courses and planning for a  hybrid learning center and an income share agreement model soon. currently, it offers  an upfront fee of up to 25% only and the remaining 75% fee after placement.  Industries Helping Hands is an end-to-end upskilling and recruiting platform that helps  candidates to bag deserving jobs and corporates to find the right talent with a preferred  skill set.
